Helen is one of the busiest freelance
Harpists in Scotland, working in a huge variety of different music
genres. Helen is equally at home performing with professional
&
chamber orchestras as she is with performing
with her Flute and Harp duo and with singers and choirs.
Helen has performed and recorded with
many of the leading orchestras in the UK and after a successful tour
in 2002 she recorded 'The Peoples Mass' with the Dunedin Consort for
Delphian Records.
In 2005 Helen collaborated with
Mezzo Soprano Taylor Wilson to give the first performance of Five
Chinese Odes and Lines from a Tomb of an Unknown Woman by John Rose
for Mezzo Soprano and Harp. In 2006 Taylor and Helen
were invited to perform at Glasgow University Chapel
during the Musica Nova Festival.
In 2007 Helen performed "The Swan"
with Julian Lloyd Webber at Proms in the Park - Glasgow Green
